WHAT Is BREAK-A-THON for maddy?
BREAK-A-THON is a fundraising event that Dothan and Enterprise Martial Arts Academy hosts to help people in need in the local area. We are honored to announce that Maddy will be our special guest for this year’s BREAK-A-THON. The goal for "BREAK-A-THON for Maddy" is to raise money to help Maddy’s journey as she bravely fights childhood cancer. Maddy was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 11, and her courageous journey of overcoming hardships and battling cancer serves as the inspiration for this year’s fundraiser. The event will be held on April 13, 2024 at Wadlington Park (161 N Foster St Dothan, AL) from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Dothan and Enterprise Martial Arts Academy’s family and friends will come together to have fun and raise money for a good cause. For every $20 raised, the participant/student must break one board. For example, if the student raised $185, the student would have to break nine boards on the day of the event. This teaches the participants/students that it is not always easy when helping others, but it is rewarding. Every single person counts when contributing back to the community.
This is a non-profit event hosted by Dothan and Enterprise Martial Arts Academy, and 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Maddy and her family.
HOW CAN i get involved
Step 1: Stop by our studio to register and receive an envelope!

Step 2: Set a challenging goal. Ask yourself the question “How much money can I raise?” or “What would be a challenging goal for myself?”
Step 3: Get sponsors. Ask friends, relatives, neighbors, and local businesses to sponsor you.
Step 4: Collect donations. Cash, check, or electronic donations are welcome. The checks should be made out to Dothan Martial Arts Academy.
Step 5: Return the Sponsor Form Envelope along with ALL of the donations to Dothan and Enterprise Martial Arts by April 10, 2024
